The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation and Reach Back & Lift 1 (RB&L1) will host the 2nd Annual Cinderella Prince Charming Ball Casino Night to continue to support Project Cinderella and the Prince Charming Project initiatives.
The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation and RB&L1 are focused on one of its most significant community outreach initiatives, Project Cinderella and the Prince Charming Project. In 2013, the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation initiated Project Cinderella and has provided approximately 700 dresses to girls at two local Middle Schools. RB&L1 joined the effort in 2021 by supplying outfits for 27 Middle School boys. Both organizations are committed to meeting the growing need through strategic partnerships with school administrators, nonprofits, and community-focused local businesses. Our goal is to ensure every 8th-grade girl and boy desiring to attend the End of the Year Dance is confidently dressed to enjoy their formal dance experience.
In 2013, the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation was established. The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility for each other during the most troublesome times. Our vision is through community outreach and the ethos of The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation, the elderly will be supported, the youth will be educated, the hungry will be fed, the unclothed will be covered, and the impoverished will be restored. Therefore, The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation, serving as mentors and role models in personal, social, and spiritual development, is focused on transforming lives by providing resources and offering much-needed care and support to a diverse group of people.
In 2019, RB&L1 was established to assist youth and young adults with professional, personal, and leadership skills by providing training and offering programs, in partnership with local business leaders. Also, RB&L 1 is committed to connecting underemployed individuals with the resources necessary to become self-sufficient and earn a living wage, with programs targeting underserved communities in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
